Auckland and Christchurch Ecosystem Types? Are we still being provided with a shapefile for this?

For Auckland, there is shapefile information at:

and in both cases we simply want to detect that we are within the greater urban AKL or CHCH areas and inform the use with this message as appropriate:

Actually the intention is to pull out the ecosystem type as per the underlying shape files in these 2 sources and to report it in output table (but not to use it to select/filter species) as information.
